Why Bordoodles?
When choosing a breed I knew that I either needed to breed poodles, or a poodle mix. After looking into the doodle and poodle world, I decided on Bordoodles. They are a lesser known in the doodle world, however they are exactly what I was looking for.
I wanted to raise pups who absolutely love pleasing their people. Dogs who are eager to learn, who want to interact with their families on many levels and in many ways. Border collies love being put to work. Whether that job be agility, going biking, or herding sheep, they are very attentive and engaged dogs. Poodles can be great hunting dogs or show dogs, however they are also very goofy dogs who love their people.
Border collies and poodles are considered the smartest two dog breeds in the world and the combo of the two of them creates an incredibly smart pup. They are also both very active breeds. The combination of these two produced the type of pup Iām wanting to produce for the active family. Not all dogs are able to go run five miles with their dad. Not all pups can keep up with kids or go on a hike with their families. However unlike many very active breeds, they have this ability to match the energy of their homes. The way we train and raise also promotes dogs knowing how to settle and just rest. This creates a phenomenal dog.
